family sessions

the pearson family

THIS family. Their light and love came through my lens so strongly. It makes me happy when families come to a session so open-hearted.  Very grateful to the Magic Hour Foundation for connecting me with the Pearsons. If you are not familiar with the Magic Hour Foundation they offer free photography sessions and prints to those fighting cancer. If you are a Photographer I cannot recommend this foundation enough.  And they offer sessions everywhere so please check them out.  https://magichour.org/

Sarah is fighting breast cancer and underwent chemo during her pregnancy. I've poured over her blog and it's so utterly uplifting and healing. You can follow her here: https://honestlyvulnerable.weebly.com. Enjoy a glimpse, into the life, of this beautiful tribe.

the McTague family

Most of you know that I am a natural light junky. I basically live for portrait sessions like this. As I was starting to edit these images my heart ached a little. My kids are still young, but not THIS young. And I miss it.

I'm honored to be able to document families during this vibrant (and let's be real...totally exhausting) time in their lives:)
